Triathlon Training Camps and Coaching Programs
I love endurance sports! From 2 minutes (800m) to 200 miles (ultra cycling) I have experienced the satisfication of pacing!
If your goal is to podium in your AG (age-group) at a marathon, sprint duathlon / olympic-distance triathlon, or Ironman, I will customize your blueprint of success! 50% of Tranter Triathletes have a realistic goal of qualifying for the Boston Marathon or the National Triathlon/Duathlon Team. As a London-area runner or triathlete, if you share this goal and have the work ethic to match, you may want to connect with Rob Tranter.
TTC Coaching is evidence-based! If you diligently and passionately give me your best daily, you will be very competitive. Here is a brief list of sports I have excelled in as an athlete and coach:
- Road and trail running - 5k to 50 miles
- Track - 800m to 3000m
- Canoe/kayak and open water swimming
- Cycling - middle-distance (5k hill climbs, 20k and 40k time trials) and ultra-distance: mountain biking (24 hours) and gran fondo (centuries)
- Quadrathlon - swim/kayak/bike/run (European sport)
- Triathlon and Duathlon
My coaching programs are focused on the LTAD (Long-term athlete development) National Triathlon Team model for success. My goal as a coach is to qualify 50% of Tranter Triathletes for this team. For 2014 I will be partnering with another successful triathlon training camp in Florida. Please view our camp photos below as it has been designed within the LTAD model. This will help to provide an understanding of the TTC method should you decide to come on board. Please also see the coaching programs available below the camp photos and sample resort slideshow. Welcome to Tranter Triathlon Coaching!

Palmetto Bluff, rated the world's best resort, was our destination for several triathlon workouts.

Palmetto Bluff is great for long rides, speed training and brick (T2) workouts.

Alternating pool venues (this one is the National Training Center) provide a focus on strength (current) , technique (underwater video) and speed (stroke rate).

Endless island bike trail networks provide great recovery rides and a means to the back country roads for long rides.

Trail running at Lake Louisa State Park and the Orange Groves 10-mile trail provide a perfect environment for base building and a natural zen focus.

Cross-training and core development can involve SUP (stand-up paddle board).

Running technique, speed training and economy can be developed on the NTC (National Training Center) track.

A previous stay, close to the Atlantic Ocean, with firm sand for running, strength drills and open water swimming.

TTC Head Coach Rob Tranter (far left: white top) will do his best to accomodate your concerns with a results-driven, fun experience!
